A legacy SPIP website becomes a durable static archive
In brief
After containing a compromised legacy SPIP website, Les Établissements Decoux chose not to reactivate a dynamic CMS. Their publications, articles, interviews, podcasts and audio archives will be preserved in a static website faithful to the original design.
The transformation with Hugo greatly reduces the attack surface and maintenance burden while giving an important cultural collection a durable form.
